When will overflow gutters be used?

An overflow channel is usually embedded into the ground around the entire pool. It collects overflowing water for cleaning. The water flows back into the pool via nozzles at the bottom of the pool. In contrast to the skimmer system, the pool is filled with water up to the very edge. Due to the channel, there are hardly any waves formed during use of the pool - without constantly feeling the reflection of the waves, you can swim in calm lanes. Public swimming pools and whirlpools must have overflow channels as specified by the DIN 19643 standard for the treatment of bathing water.
