Safety

How can I prevent suction?

Today, there are very complex safety regulations for private and public swimming pools, for instance, in DIN 13451, 16582 and 16713. These regulations require, for example, that a pump must always suck from two intakes at the same time. If one is blocked, sufficient water can still be drawn over the remaining intake. This minimises the suction force. Furthermore, the lids on these suction devices must be designed so that no hair can be sucked in. RivieraPool always takes these regulations into account. It is therefore important to use original accessories, including the appropriate pumps. This ensures that the entire intake system is designed according to the safety regulations and that there is no danger.
