Does groundwater pose a risk to the RivieraPool swimming pool?

No. Our recommendation is to keep the pool filled during the winter. Then frozen soil cannot compress the pool walls, and groundwater cannot float the pool.

It is only questionable when emptying the pool if there are high groundwater levels. Then it should only be done under supervision. However, generally, RivieraPools are unproblematic when it comes to groundwater. They are often found in typical flood areas, for example, in the Netherlands. Some basins are built “up to the collar” into the groundwater and survive this circumstance for more than 40 years.
