How can energy loss from the pool be avoided?

First and foremost, there is the swimming pool cover. A pool loses around 80 percent of its thermal energy via the water surface. The pool cover not only absorbs this loss but can also supply the bathing water with additional solar energy.

The remaining 20 percent of the energy loss is mainly distributed over the pool walls and floor as well as the entire piping system. Here it makes sense to opt for a pool with efficient insulation of walls and floor, as is the case with the Riviera Pools. Their sandwich construction means they achieve excellent insulation values. An additional backfill of the pool with lightweight insulating concrete ensures that the installation parts and pipelines are completely insulated. Modern insulating backfillings have excellent insulation values even in groundwater.
